June

It's the end of school and that means lots of celebrating.  First we had Jayne's end of year dance recital!  Her 2 brothers are troopers sitting through hours of dance lessons each year waiting for her :-)  I think they are her biggest fans.  She looked adorable and of course did an amazing job!

 So beautiful!
 Our family after her recital!
A fun Saturday going up in the big Orange Balloon!
We finally had some time to start hitting the beach!

Jayne bridged from a Daisy to a Brownie!
Jayne on her last day of school!  Now she'll be in 2nd Grade!
Jayne and my Dad on Grandparents Day!  It was right before the end of school.  Awesome Grandpa!

May

It's Jayne's Birthday and she turned 7!  We had a huge friend party.  Swimming and a bounce house.  May was very busy with teacher appreciation week and the fun run at school too!

Kyle had so much fun, then crashed!  He never does this.  Ryan got to play with his cousin Josh during the party and was in heaven!

The fun run was on Jayne's birthday so she got her birthday crown to wear too.  Ryan ran several laps with Jayne for the fun run!  It was a great month!

April

We started April by spending a wonderful Saturday at USC's Spring practice.  We didn't get to go to a game last season because Kyle was so little and didn't do well with really loud noises.  We've missed it.  The kids had a blast!

Playing ball on the grass in front of the coliseum and the Olympic flame.  See Kyle's fluffy white hair on the very bottom of the picture :-)  Fun, fun day!

Ryan was an adorable bunny for his Easter program at Preschool.  He wiped off the face paint the second he walked into the house, but I was surprised he even let them put the paint on.  He is definitely his father's son :-)
We spent Easter with my family in Vista.  We left the kids after all the egg hunts and spent 2 days without kids.  It was our first break since Kyle was born a year ago!  We slept for about 10 hours straight.  It was fantastic.  And of course the kids thought getting to spend 2 days at Grandma and Grandpa's was the best!
Jayne was asked to do the pledge and flag ceremony at our City Council meeting.  She did a great job.  She got to be the reader and say the entire pledge in front of everyone at the mic.  It was their first time doing it.  She did a wonderful job!
Here's Jayne's 2 crazy brothers who are always tagging along :-)  We barely made it out of there before Kyle started chucking balls down the aisle.

Sunday Evening Picnic at the Beach
I pack up our dinner and we take it down to the beach/grass area to watch the sun go down, go for a little walk, and play catch with each other for a bit.  It's definitely one of our favorite family activities.

 Love these guys!
Ryan did this cute little basketball class with a bunch of his buddies.  So fun!
Also this month, I ran the Southern CA Ragnar Relay.  I had to run 19 miles.  It's a team of 12, running 206 miles for 2 days straight.  You sleep in the car or wherever you can and eat along the way.  It was crazy!

I had a super fun team!  I loved my car!  And we ended on the beach in Coronado.  Super fun!
I talked my mom  into joining my team after one of the original people bailed.  Luckily she is so in shape she could jump in at the end and do great!  We had so much fun.  We'll definitely be doing that again!

March

March bring my babies birthday!!  I can't believe he's 1!!  We celebrated several times with our extended family but his actual day fell on a Sunday.  We had one of his favorite dinners- spaghetti-  and chocolate cake.  He loved our families favorite chocolate sheet cake.
After dinner we went to the beach for a family walk and playing catch.  Being outside and playing ball are 2 of Kyle's favorite things.  I just love this little guy!!

The next week was my brother's wedding.  Jayne got to be a flower girl.  It was a really fun day, despite a massive storm.  The temple, ring ceremony, and reception were all beautiful!

We got to go to Sea World for a field trip with Ryan's preschool.
I also got to take Jayne and Ryan to Disneyland one evening without Kyle.  This is us outside of Space Mountain!  We went and got to ride all of the "big" rides.  They did great.  It was so much fun!  Hopefully we'll get to do that again soon :-)
Our nephew Jake was baptized  .  Here's a picture of all the cousins together.  We had such a great day!  It was a wonderful baptism and so much fun to be together.
Jayne's Girl Scout troop participated in the International Food Fair.  They had to dress up like the country of Madagascar and perform a dance.  It was a fun day trying food from around the world.  I made the girls costumes.  Unfortunately, it was raining that morning so they were covered up some with jackets.  But it was really cute for their dance.
Fun month!

February

Happy Valentines Day!!  We had a special breakfast to get everyone ready for their parties that day!
Jayne in her new Valentines day dress (see babyjaynes.com for their valentines and our festivities)
My boys in outfits with red in them :-)
Happy 4th Birthday Ryan!!!  I can't believe he's 4!  We got to celebrate for about a week straight!  He got to celebrate at school.  We got to bring a treat.  He chose Krispy Kreme Donuts, glazed with chocolate!  They were a big hit.

We had a small friend party with his playgroup.  I took the boys to Chuck E Cheese!  Ryan was beyond excited.  We rarely go there and he's always begging to go, so it was so much fun to bring a few of his buddies along.
We also had a party at our house to celebrate the February Birthday's in the Jonas family!  Kacie and Ryan loved their cake and the cousins had so much fun.
And last but not least, we got to celebrate at my parents house with my side of the family!
Ryan got his favorite cake twice this week!
It was so much fun having cousin Ashton in town to celebrate!
I got to make 14 outfits for Jayne's Daisy troop to perform next month.  They have to wear the traditional dress from Madagascar! More pictures in March of their performance.

Jayne received a special award at school for academic achievement!  We are so proud of her!

My Boys... just chill'in :-)
Jayne danced in the school talent show with her whole Daisy troop.  They did such a great job!  And of course she loved it!
We went to the Santa Ana Zoo for the first time this month too.  It is very small but we had fun.  We saw all the animals and played at the park there for a long time.  The boys loved it!
