Bath Time

I know I'm biased but I think he's the cutest little thing I've ever seen! He loves his bath time.
Jayne loves getting to help me. Kyle absolutely adores her. He lights up when she talks to him and he definitely recognizes her voice if she's even remotely near by. She is so wonderful with him. He is definitely lucky to have Jayne for a big sister!

Kyle's Blessing

2 Sunday's ago, June 5, we blessed baby Kyle! It was such a wonderful day! Everyone made it to the church early, and had a beautiful meeting. Afterwards we hosted a luncheon for everyone at our club. And when I way everyone, I mean everyone...
This was our cheering section for the blessing :-) We are VERY loved! And we love them!! We were so happy that our close family could all come join us. We had over 70 people to church with us and over for lunch after. We had so much fun getting to visit. It was a beautiful day and we greatly appreciate all of our support and tremendous love.
I love my little guy. He's getting big too quickly. I wish he would slow down! But I do like that he's finally starting to sleep longer than 10 minute intervals and given me a few nights of good blocks of sleep. I'll take the small blessings :-)
I absolutely LOVE his blessing outfit. It's a white collared shirt with a mostly white sweater vest over top and white linen pants. It's the same outfit Ryan wore, and it was fun to get 2 uses out of it! He started smiling a few weeks ago and it's so much fun! He just turns himself inside out to smile for us now. What a wonderful day!

Open House

We had Jayne's Open House night at school. She was so excited to get to show us all of her projects. Ryan was so excited to get to go into her classroom. He found a ball in the classroom and had fun playing with that the whole time.
So Excited!
Jayne with her teacher Mrs. Werner. She has had a wonderful year and done soooo well! She's reading her own chapter books now and writing really well. We're still working on spelling but apparently your supposed to let them start by spelling how it sounds and then we start correcting it later. But I have a hard time resisting. It's been a fun year! I can't believe she's almost a 1st Grader!!

Memorial Day Weekend

We spent Memorial Day weekend in San Diego, and appropriately enough, helped celebrate a serviceman. Jason's cousin, Chris, retired from, the Navy and we were fortunate enough to attend his retirment celebration on the USS Midway in San Diego. It was a great day and weekend where we got to see a lot of family on both sides. We spent Sunday/Monday at my parents house.
Jason, Chris, Me and Kyle
The kids had fun running all over afterwards with their cousins.
Kyle was adorable and slept most of the celebration.

Jog A Thon

I can't believe I'm old enough to have a kid doing the jog-a-thon! This is because I remember running in my first jog a thon and my mom coming to run with me. I was in Kindergarten or 1st grade. I remember everyone telling me how pretty she was.

So, Ryan, Kyle and I went to school to cheer Jayne on. We didn't get to run with her. It was a grass field and VERY crowded. But we did cheer. She was a great runner! She ran the most laps in her late bird class and there were only 2 boys who ran more laps than her in the early bird class. She loved it!

Some stretches before they start.

Happy Birthday Jayne!

Jayne turned 6 on Thursday and we celebrated-all day!! She had a short day at school and got to take cookies for snack. After school we had her best girlfriends over for a party.
All the party decorating and crafting details can be found here.
My mom came to help me for the day and got to bring Brooklynn too!
Nita also came to help watch my 2 boys while my mom and I were manning the party. Thank so much to both of them for their help!!
It was a cooking party so the girls made their own pizzas, decorated cupcakes, made their own recipe books and got to take home a personalized apron as their gift!
I think she had fun.
This is one happy baby! He got to be held for 3 hours straight! Thank you Nita!!
After the party we did Jayne's favorite dinner and opening presents from family.
Her big present was a Pfaff sewing machine from my parents!! She couldn't wait to give it a go. She got a sewing lesson from grandma before she had to go. It was a wonderful birthday and so much fun!!

We've had a lot of fun weekend. We've gone to the beach, been playing tennis, visiting family. Our party train keeps rolling ..... :-)
