December

Jayne and her Daisy troop walked in the Laguna Niguel Holiday Parade!  She loved it!!
I'm Jayne's Room Mom for her class so I got to plan the class Holiday party!  We had so much fun!!  It was a Gingerbread theme- made Gingerbread Houses, decorated Gingerbread Man cookies, played Holiday Bingo, read the Gingerbread Boy story and made a Gingerbread Man out of paper to take home.
Jayne's Holiday Music Program at school.
Ryan's Holiday Party at Preschool!!  He was so cute singing all of his songs.
The boys were good helpers all month so I could get everything ready for Christmas!
I finally gave up on baby food and started giving Kyle regular good.  Here's the first time I gave him Spaghetti.  As you can tell, her loved it!!
Christmas Eve!!  We went to dinner at my Grandma's house.
We also exchanged presents that day with my family.
It was a really fun night.  Here's the girls!
Kyle got to be baby Jesus.  He was a little big but he stayed put on Jayne/Mary's lap.  Ryan absolutely did not want to put on a costume but he would sit by the kids.  He is his father's son :-)

My sister and I.
Christmas morning!!  The kids were so excited!!  I love our Christmas morning traditions and wonderfully magical day!  We had so much fun together all day!
Waiting on the stairs for a picture till they get the 'all clear' to see what Santa brought!
Everyone trying out their new bike!!
The next day we took a road trip to Scottsdale AZ to spend our Christmas vacation with Jason's family.
We took family pictures.  I got this one while we were waiting.
The kids LOVED swimming in Grandma and Grandpa's pool.
They also loved getting to play with their cousins and see all of our extended family.
We got to go to a Phoenix Suns game and watch from a private suite...
took the kids to a fun train park,
went to see Stomp, at the theater, and

Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas to all of our dear family and friends!! We had another exciting year! The most memorable event was the birth of Kyle in early March. Learning to transition to 3 kids and still do all of our activities has been our year! Our summer highlights include an awesome trip to White Fish Montana with Jason's sister Jen and her family. We all loved it! As Ryan said the other day, "I want to go back to Montana...again and again and again." It was so much fun. I also took the kids to Lake Mohave with my family while Jason had to work. Jason got to get away for a short guys golf weekend with his brother, but otherwise we've been home bound with the baby! We feel very blessed to have work, all be healthy, and happy. We're looking forward to celebrating the holiday's with Jason's family in Scottsdale. We hope you all have a safe and memorable Christmas and a wonderful New Year!!

Love,
Jason, Trina, Jayne, Ryan, Kyle

November

For an early Christmas gift we gave the kids passes to Disneyland. It's been a while since we've had them and Ryan barely remembers going. I took him and Kyle after school one day. We had so much fun! It was Kyle's first time. The park was already decorated for Christmas. We met up with a few of Ryan's friends and had a great time!
Happy Boy!
Poor baby didn't get to keep him nap schedule that day. He was so tired he crashed on the tram on the way to the car. Poor 3rd child gets dragged everywhere :-)
The boys and I helped chaperone a Girl Scout field trip to the fire station. Ryan thought this was really cool too.
Jayne's Daisy Troop
I'm so happy we're almost over having the 1:30 church start time. Ryan was a mess and needed a nap but we couldn't cause we had to leave for Church. I was getting ready, and come down the stairs to find Ryan totally passed out on the middle landing of the stairs. Poor guy.
Thanksgiving Parties!! As room mom, I got to help coordinate Jayne's Thanksgiving Feast and go help with her party. Ryan had his party the same day at preschool. He sang songs and got to have his feast!
After the parties, I took all three kids to Disneyland! Jayne was so surprised to get her pass and so excited. She hasn't been for a long time.
I decided to be very brave. Besides taking all 3 alone, I decided we'd stay until bed time. It was a special treat to stay for dinner, the parade, and the fireworks. They even has a special parade for Christmas and make it snow!!
We almost never stay that late, but I have to say it was really really fun! Here's Small world, all lit up for Christmas! It was a very magical day. We missed Jason.
We got to go back to Disneyland on one of our Thanksgiving break days with a whole bunch of friends. Almost the whole boat was filled with friends. The kids loved it, of course.
Happy Thanksgiving!! The kids were all ready to eat our amazing Thanksgiving feast! We had a great day at my mom's house enjoying family.
Kyle fell asleep on the way home from Thanksgiving, still clutching his football that Ryan shared with him. So cute!!
Kyle is now crawling and sitting up really good! He loves playing with the kids.
Kyle also has 1 big tooth and a second tooth is just visible above the gums. He still HATES baby food, but is gradually starting to eat table food. His favorite food- quesadilla's, just like his brother. I love my little blue eyes :-)

Halloween

The kids were very specific with their costumes this year. They wanted to be the characters from a new Disney Channel cartoon called, Jake and the Neverland Pirates. It's super cute, and features 2 boys and girl. They do share a striking resemblance to my children, and yes, they think they are them. My mom helped me whip up costumes for them. They LOVED it!
It's Jake, Izzy, and little Cubby.
We went trick or treating with a bunch of friends around our neighborhood. The kids had a full day of parties and activities. It was a great Holiday!
Ryan was a little disappointing because he doesn't really care for candy. He was the most excited when one house gave out pretzels! He came running out shouting to me that he got pretzels. He did like some suckers and M&M's but the rest he could care less about. Jayne loved it all, and was continually leaving a trail of pixie dust (ie. glitter) everywhere she went. We couldn't figure it out. I thought the sidewalk had sparkles in it because everywhere we went it was sparkling. Jason finally figured out it was Jayne. Lovely. Glitter across the entire neighborhood.
And Kyle was along for the ride :-) A Happy Halloween indeed.

October Happenings

We did so much in October! We had so much fun. Here's some highlights...
We went to a pumpkin patch. We rode rides, looked at animals, and got a pumpkin.
Jayne was asked to be in a photo shoot for a website. I'll put up a link once it goes live. It's for a new company that friends of ours are starting. She LOVED getting to pose for pictures for 45 minutes straight :-)
We got to see a bunch of cousins/extended family. We had so much fun when Jason's brother's family and parents came to town. We all got together several times to celebrate all the October birthday's in the family and enjoy some time together.
I took Ryan (and Kyle) on his first Preschool Field Trip. We went to a real working farm/pumpkin patch. He LOVED it!
Ryan's Class
Ryan picking vegetables. Then he got to pick his own pumpkin!
Kyle going on a run with Mommy. (It was crazy to be back down to 1 kid in the jogger. It felt so light! We went during the short time that Ryan was in Preschool and the baby wasn't taking a nap.)
Super fun birthday dinner with a bunch of my girl friends!
Kyle graduated to the next size up tub. Unfortunately, he tries to lay down in it so I have to help keep him propped up, but he's getting the hang of it.
Kyle ready for church. I love his mohawk.
Carving pumpkins with Dad! This year, Jayne loved pulling the "guts" out. Ryan wouldn't touch it. We'll see if he grows out of that like Jayne did.
Awesome pumpkins!
Ryan as Buzz lightyear for his Halloween party at school and a friends party on Halloween.
