Wednesday we hit the free movie and Jayne had a playdate with her friend Maddie.
Friday, Jason had the day off. We had so much fun. We took the kids to play tennis. They chased the balls and played a little too. I had to get this picture of them on the grassy hill next to our court watching us. And yes, I know Ryan's hat doesn't fit but it was blocking sun from his face. He needs a new one for this year :-) Hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July!!!

Another fun week and our first week of summer! We got back from my parents Monday night and then the week just flew by. We hit the beach with friends Wed. and the pool with friends the 3 other days! I think you can say, we're officially in summer vacation mode (not that it's all that different from normal, but hey, we're playing along :-) Here's a few pics :-) Hope you had a wonderful week and got out in the beautiful sun!
Doesn't it look like we're in Hawaii?! I can pretend right! We went to the Montage beach this week. Very nice sand, shower, and parking. We'll be back.
All Ryan wanted to do was eat the entire time...in my chair. No surprises here! He did have fun playing with his new Thomas the Train sand toys too.

We had to babysit tonight, Friday night, for our babysitting coop group. We babysit one night, 8 kids total (our two, plus 3 other couples with 2 kids) then we get 3 of the following nights out and we all trade. We LOVE it! The kids had a blast! These were the "girls" having a picnic. They went from room to room having picnics and dressing up like princesses. The boys were outside playing ball. Exhausting, but so worth it! :-) And the kids have so much fun. They look forward to Fridays as much as we do!
Some fun highlights from our week: CA Adventure with the kids (I know it seems like we're going a lot, it's because I got passes but they aren't good for the entire summer, so trying to go a bunch before their blocked out. One more time next week then no more until Sept). We went with our friends Wendy, Tess, and Sophie. The girls had fun posing for pics. Ryan LOVED CA Adventure. Nothing scary and he loved the Playhouse Disney show.
Jason bought Jayne a new couch and Ryan his own new couch. They were always fighting over the old one and since we have no seating in that room, these were much needed. Ryan is realizing he has his "own" thing for probably the first time. He LOVES it! He runs right over every morning and sits down. It's so cute!
